Okay, let's start with the elephant in the corner. Yes, it does suck what they did with Dahlia. It isn't a total deus ex machina, since I buy magic could work like that. Which only leaves the fact of it failing on a storytelling and characterization level.

But as for the other epic shit, EPIC SHIT IS EPIC. Oh, show, you can BRING IT. And I love Cara's little head-tilt when Richard and Kahlan are kissing (spoiler!). I think I'll miss you most of all, Scarecrow.

In an uncertain world, where everyday we run the risk of rogue pulsars and (worse) cancellation, who couldn't use a pick-me-up? Thus, The (potentially) Great LotS Spooning Commentfic Meme. The LotS is short for Legend of the Seeker.

I know what you're thinking. "Fucking commentfics, how do they work?" It's so simple, a Twihard could do it.

So, like many of you, I was devastated by the cancellation of Legend of the Seeker. Really, LotS and Dollhouse get the same number of episodes? LotS had, like, 200% less rape. But then, after an ill-advised attempt to overdose on baby animals…

Season three or the puppy-pillow-squirrel gets it!

I decided to look on the bright side. There's always a bright side, right? Every cloud has a silver lining (except the cloud of smoke rising from your home after Columbian drug dealers chop up your family with machetes and then set fire to your DVD collection and then the fire spreads to your comic books and those pants that make your ass look good and then everything burns, EVERYTHING ALWAYS BURNS).

*five minutes of continuous sobbing later*

So aside from drug-deal-machete clouds, SILVER LINING!

I know we're all worried about Legend of the Seeker getting renewed and writing letters, so to take the edge off... well, in the past I've mentioned that in a modern-day AU, Cara would make a great motorcycle cop, and some of you guys were like "guh!", so, err, here's a picture of Cara as a motorcycle cop. *runs off*

I know we're all in love with how Cara's head bops up on just hearing the word 'discipline' like a dog hearing that it's going for a walk, but how about how she flutters her fan while doing a badass monologue? And how the entire episode was basically Mean Girls: Poetry Slam? All this and Kahlan!snark as well! In short, I'm pretty sure this episode was the crowning achievement of human civilization.

I’m going to review both Dark and Perdition at once, since they’re almost a two-parter in how Dark is set-up for Perdition’s pay-off. And Perdition does deliver a suitably epic pay-off, even if it makes you work for it.

So, sometimes you Google someone and you find out things you just have to post. For instance, Tabrett Bethell. Not a Star Wars character, despite the name. You probably know her as Mistress Cara from Legend of the Seeker. If you don't watch it, think "Tim Riggins for gay ladies." But she's also starred in commercials!

Here, the ad implies that if you wear a certain underwear, Tabrett Bethell will find you, like some sort of sexy non-Summer Glau Terminator, and have her way with you. That's playing hardball. Imagine if car companies did that. "If you buy some other car, yours will crash and your family will burn!

But she's also done, umm, romantic comedies. I must see this under the same principle that I must see The Rock in The Tooth Fairy. Ha, it's funny because he did PG-13-rated action movies five years ago and yet now he's a tooth fairy! Anyway, if you're wondering why this makes the cut despite my kneejerk "aww, they think they're Hollywood" reaction to foreign films, it does feature Tabrett Bethell in a man's business suit.

Also, for some reason someone made a video of a guy hitting on Tabrett Bethell. I guess as a how-to guide. Mostly worth it for HER FAAACE AND ALSO ACCENT.

And before all that, she used to be a model, so now all of our RPF can include Zoolander quotes!

Yes, before she played Cara, she literally made a living striking a pose. And before that... there is no way I'm reading this right... she was a cheerleader.

Before that, I'm guessing she was a member of the Babysitters' Club, and when she was born, lame people started to walk right and old cows began giving milk again.
