So I'm writing a story in which two female characters from a genre TV show have sex in the Star Wars universe. Dear self, remember when you used to make fun of people like you? (Don't worry, it was loving sarcasm, even back then.)

Oh, sure, sometimes the universe's biggest crime lord (who lives here) throws an incredibly dangerous pod-race full of sabotage and Tusken raider shoot-outs, but there hasn't been one of those since the Queen of Naboo crash-landed here. And you know only one tribe of sand people has been slaughtered to the man by a rogue Jedi Knight? One! Yup, Tatooine... SO. BORING.
