I can understand why you would try to buy a ticket for an R-rated movie, and I even sympathize, as I feel the MPAA is basically a bunch of morons who deserve to be slapped around until their "standards" are at the very least not obviously hypocritical or flagrantly double standards.

However, for Plan "look old enough to buy tickets to R-rated movie and hope we don't get carded," I feel you would be best served by not wearing T-shirts for a local high school.

And whatever you do, don't wear two.

From fourteen to eighteen I was twenty-three, and mostly working through the first year of my degree in journalism. Why journalism, I can't quite fathom, but I used to feel "aspiring classical musician" was only marginally less embarrassing an occupation than herpes spokesperson.

It served me well – until I went to vote for the first time, and the person at the door knew me as, by that point, twenty-five.

Oddly, I never had trouble with gaining entry to +19 places. Maybe we're more relaxed up here – I caught an R-rated film age twelve when I really couldn't have looked that much older.
