Peter woke up dead.

His first thought was how exactly that worked. If you were dead, shouldn't you never wake up? Yet he had woken up, and he was dead.

His second thought was that there was a poker game going on, and Captain America was the big blind.

"Steve? Aren't you dead?"

"Uh-huh. We all are." Steve nodded to his poker buddies: Jack Monroe, Goliath, and Dumbledore. "You too."

"Eh? All I did was make a deal with the devil!"

"Yeah. To never marry Mary-Jane. And remember how many times she inspired you in the face of overwhelming odds?"

"Oh yeah." Peter pulled up a chair. "So I guess without her, someone killed me other than Morlun. Yeah, bad move on my part. So, how are we busting out of here?"

If you wanted, you could even have Peter take Harry Osborn with him out of Limbo. That would make a lot more sense than "Oh, he's been alive all along... and yet nothing's really changed all that much!"

Your little snippits put an amused smile on my face. Good writing, even when it's something as short as this. While I've always known alot about the Spidey-universe (movie!verse? blech. NOT Spider-man) I've never actually been as huge of a fan as I have been with the Bat-verse but even I see what a total wad of crap this whole OMD thing is.

I believe it would be cool to chat with you from time to time about comics. Our pov's are along the same lines, I do believe...
