My dad wants me to go see The Fighter

I told him that I can't support any director who butchers a cinematic adaptation as easy as Uncharted, when the logline should be simply "Nathan Fillion plays Indiana Jones".

Me: He's turning it into a family drama! With Mark Wahlberg!

Dad: Mark Wahlberg was pretty good in that movie whose name I can't remember (The Departed).

Me: Well, Nathan Fillion was pretty good in everything, so he should take precedent.

C'mon, people, if Matt Damon were more of a white guy, he'd be Mark Wahlberg. The only possible positive that Uncharted: The Movie (it takes place in New York! How is New York uncharted!) can have is the metafictional riffing Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception will do on it.
