Well to be fair, she seems to be into it because really like the character. I mean, if someone offered me the role of, say, Farrah in a more faithful remake of Prince of Persia, or Nico in runaways I would be like, JUST LET ME GET MY FAKE TAN AND EYE MAKEUP. And fandom would be rightfully outraged, but I'd be happy, cause I'd be Farrah/Nico/Storm/Azula/Toph/whoever.

Normally I'd have a problem with this, but given that my every attempt to read Gen13 has sputtered and died with the realization that the writers consider Rainmaker's personality to be lesbian, I can't bring myself to object to nice tits in the role.

Honestly, I don't think they're that great, personally. She's certainly not hideous, and physically fairly attractive, but if she wasn't doing the same tricks your average camwhore does for attention, just towards a bigger target, she'd be a one-time Playboy model and that's as high as she'd climb.

Anyway, I don't see any way for that role not to suck in any hypothetical film. If the comic writes Rainmaker as The Lesbian most of the time, the movie would upgrade that to The Lesbian who has to take her shirt off right now FOR JUSTICE.
