First off, really, I don't want to ask for my break over the walkie. I'm sure you wouldn't forget ('cept for that time when I went on a break two hours late. And then you complained about how I was treating customers. Gee, I wonder what could've made me surly.). But was it me who hung up that big print-out saying "Employees must take break by their fifth hour"? Pretty sure it wasn't me. Also pretty sure it was five hours and eight minutes by the time I got my break, even with my reminder. So either stop with the "TAKE A BREAK BY THE FIFTH HOUR, MORTAL, LEST YE FACE DOOM!" rule or actually, you know, give me a break on time.

Second, I know I'm not the model employee. I'm new in box and I make mistakes. But I'm pretty sure that making a mistake is no reason to go on a sarcastic rant about how much I suck, IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMERS. And while I'd love to say something like "Could you speak up, I think the customers can't hear you over on the other side of the mall?" or just use my shiny new fist (OMGWTF where did my hand go?), you are the boss. I pretty much can't without getting fired. That's why we like to call an uneven power dynamic. So you're not being snarky or witty or clever. You're just being a fucking bitch and a bully on top of it. This is how things like communism happen. People like you think it's fun to rip a dick and then people like me think it's fun to put you up against a wall and shoot you. Or Rasputin calls upon demonic force to incite rebellion against the just and righteous Czars. I learned my history from animated movies, like a real American should.

And gosh, is sarcasm ever the greatest comedic material ever or what? You say one thing, but you mean another! That's soooooo funny! Wow, look at me, I'm a comedic mastermind! Watch out, Dane Cook!

Oh, and while having almost a hundred tickets sold to the wrong showing may not be a "right now" problem, when a few hours pass and that showing is OVERBOOKED, it becomes a "right now" problem. Funny how that works. Which probably could've been prevented if you'd taken a moment during those few hours to actually resolve the situation, like I asked.

And who's the genius who scheduled me to close my register five minutes before Kung-Fu Panda (which actually, yeah, might turn out to be slightly popular, what with it being a kids' movie and the kids all being out of school and such) had a showing?
