seriousficI don't know if I can get across just how demented, yet somehow boring, this show is. It's as random as an episode of Family Guy. There, that worked. But in lieu of a plot synopsis, which would actually make this sound reasonable, let me reproduce a conversation that must've happened.
Writer: Guys, we need a filler episode!
Actress: I have a twin sister. Maybe something with that?
Writer: I've got it! We start off with you and Jeremiah fencing for five minutes, all while he makes constant sex jokes.
(Editor's note - Erin: Nice thrust.
Jeremiah: So I've been told URGGGG)
Writer: Then when he makes a pass at her, she turns him down! But it turns out she has a slutty twin sister who's in trouble because of her abusive boyfriend, so they go to help her and she sleeps with Jeremiah. BUT THEN Erin says the same thing to Jeremiah that the slutty sister did, so he doesn't know which twin he slept with.
AND APPARENTLY EVERYONE WAS OKAY WITH THIS.
Christ! Who does that? That is some Maury Povich shit there. God, what's so hard about saying "I'm attracted to you, but I'm not interested in a relationship right now. Let's bone"? It's the apocalypse, no one's gonna judge.
And in the other storyline, which really deserves its own post, token black people Kurdy and Dee from BSG meet a group of black separatists. First lines.
Kurdy: I'm Kurdy, this is Elizabeth.
Black separatist: Those are your slave names.
THIS. FUCKING. SHOW.
