Spidey's Got A Girlfriend and its sequel/continuation was one of my favorite fics to write. It takes place in Marvel Adventures continuity (a Marvel imprint that's softer and cuddlier and generally better than 616 continuity), with the focus being on the one thing the MA line lacks... Peter/MJ.

It just seems like pure fanfiction to me: it fits within the inspiring work, but does something that work can't. Namely, turning a family adventure series into a sixties sex comedy. Which works, I think. Instead of being raunchy or crass like BND Spider-Man, there's a sense of fun and innocence to it. Sure, people are having sex, but because they like each other, not because the Chameleon is wearing someone else's face.

Anyway, temperstempests drew this pivotal scene from Part 2: Girlfriend Harder, in which Thor tries to win Storm back after a Thor clone created by Tony Stark... kissed Jennifer Aniston.



Now, just because I write a column for a website and have fanart drawn of my stories does not make me a BNF. But I am going to need a free laptop. Pony up!
