Just in the last half-hour...
1. Deadpool reappears, no longer played by Ryan Reynolds, but by a stuntman so he can do all sorts of fighting. Okay. Now, if they had used the comic costume, which covers his entire face and body, no one would be able to tell. Instead, they have Barakapool, so you can obviously tell that it's not at all the same actor.
2. The villain walks up to Silver Fox, who can control people by touching them, so he can shoot her. And what do you think happens? She touches him and controls him. If only projectile weapons could hit people from more than three feet away!
3. Silver Fox doesn't kill Strykerbecause it's a prequel because then they'd be no better than him. First, you're dying, bitch, now is not the time to be worrying about moral superiority. Second, at the end of X2 (after Stryker has presumably caused the deaths of countless people. Thanks, Silver Fox!), Wolverine just kills him anyway.
4. At the very end, Stryker gets arrested for killing a general, which the Army frowns upon. Then I guess everyone just forgets about it and makes him a general in time for X2. It's like "oh, we need to give this character some comeuppance, even if it makes his subsequent appearance completely ridiculous."
