It takes a lot to make satin tights look good

This review of the failed Wonder Woman pilot: Readable for two reasons. 1. Delicious snark. 2. Apparently the much-vaulted rewrites David E. Kelley did in response to criticism that he didn't "get" Wonder Woman comprised of a scene where she tortured a guy for information instead of using her lasso, apparently because she was angry. Yup.

Also: Want to make sure the audience knows Wonder Woman is lonely and tortured? Have the show end with her updating her Diana Prince Facebook page, and LISTING HER CAT AND ONLY HER CAT UNDER THE FRIENDS SECTION.



ETA: The SyFy Channel, which didn't pick up Legend of the Seeker for a third season, is thinking of picking up The Event as a miniseries. We owe President Bush an apology. Sometimes torture is justifiable.

^^; I still haven't seen the original Wonder Woman series. But by the looks of it, I'd rather see the old one than the new one. The new costume looks like it was bought from an adult porn shop. ^^;

I think they'd have done better to go with her 'Amazon Battle Gear' look. Not the spandex. ;__;
