Yeah, I don't get it. Clark is supposed to be a wet behind the ears young man when he comes to the big city and meets the already seasoned reporter Lois. It would be kind of weird not having her be at least a bit older.

I am really curious how they can defend that an early twenty-something will work better as a well-known, seasoned reporter than someone in their mid-thirties...
