When bad shows happen to good actresses

So, Adrianna Palicki is Wonder Woman. That's a good choice in that she's already tall and athletic, and with some bulking up could have the look down (not that she'll have visible muscles, of course, since that would probably be intimidating to one of the four quads), and more importantly is a good actress. It's a shame that, because of the showrunner's "vision," she's probably never going to get to actually play Wonder Woman. Sorta like how Tom Welling could pull off Superman if they ever stopped writing him as a whiny little jerk?
I think Bridget Regan might've dodged a bullet there.
ETA: The thing is, even playing an entirely different character, Regan showed the kind of grace and nobility that people would expect from Wondy. And even if Palicki is capable of that (not saying she isn't), grace and nobility really don't go with "three boyfriends for each of my secret identities, lulz!"
