I guess Lena Headey is making a career out of playing ass-kicky Mama Bears

So, for those of you who haven't heard (i.e. most of you who are not British) they're making a new Judge Dredd movie which is supposed to be more faithful adaptation of the comics. The villain, Mama, will be played be Lena Headey. What's interesting about this is that Mama is described in the script as an old, unattractive woman. Obviously, Lena Headey is neither of those things unless you're a pedophile.

I can only imagine the internal conflict this will bring. "Oh, that is just like Hollywood, insisting every female character be young and hot! But Lena Headey is so awesome! But the casting is so sexist! But she's Sarah Connor! I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do 'must' and 'cannot' meet? Yet I must - but I cannot!"

For the femslash community, I'll simplify it. Yes, there is a heroine for Mama to have FoeYay with. No, she will not be played by Summer Glau.
