On Supernatural, Steven Williams plays Rufus Turner, a "hunter" like Sam and Dean who is also friends with Bobby. In a recent episode, he gets instructions from Bobby on how to kill a monster which center on using a distinctive knife in a distinctive way (the monster must be stabbed seven times).
In Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday (there have been three Friday the 13th movies released since), Steven Williams plays Creighton Duke, a bounty hunter who is after Jason Voorhees, planning to kill him with a distinctive knife wielded in a distinctive way (by a blood relative of Jason). At the end, Creighton's back is broken and he's presumed dead...
A while back, plans fell through to have Jason Voorhees actually appear on an episode of Supernatural... so, at least theoretically, Jason and the Winchesters exist in the same universe.
Tl;dr - Rufus is a character from the Friday the 13th series who survived a broken back, and Bobby helped him find out how to kill Jason Voorhees.
