seriousficSo David O. Russell is directing an Uncharted movie, which should be an important lesson to all of us. Kids, if you don't treat people right, you'll go from directing Three Kings to a videogame movie.
Fan time: I'm hoping they don't just adapt the game's story. For a game with so many cutscenes and such cinematic gameplay, it'd come off like one of those "novelization" fanfics of games you find on FF.net. Instead, maybe a movie set in the universe of the game, depicting a different crazy adventure? Maybe with Chloe?
I'm just saying -- get Nathan Fillion and Claudia Black, ask Naughty Dog to come up with a list of big action setpieces, then write a script around it. He's going after some Viking thing, but is shocked, shocked!, to discover it really turns people into monsters. There. That's your movie. Viking Zombies.
Plus, I'd finally have footage for my Mal Reynolds/Aeyrn Sun fanvid set to Counting Crows' "Accidentally In Love." Winners all around!
