No, this post has nothing to do with kissing Tony Stark, stop asking.

So watching Band of Brothers on Blu-Ray (Father's Day gift. Yes, I'm awesome) with my dad while eating pepperoni rolls -- probably the most patriotic thing I've ever done short of the time I punched bin Laden, which I really can't talk about -- I'm getting all kinds of Captain America plot bunnies... which mostly revolve around the revised origin of Cap as a propaganda figure/USO entertainer. I wanna write Steve giving out Purple Hearts and buying hats for women who got their heads shaved because they slept with Nazis. I just really want Chris Evans to "get" Steve so I don't have to scrap my ideas into 616.

And while we're at it, I really want January Jones to pull off Emma Frost. I mean, that looked like a good trade at first... woman who stars in critically-acclaimed TV show for woman who was in a lame rom-com... but now people who actually watched the show are crying foul. And what's worse is that we still have no idea how the character's conceived. Is she going to be a villainess, a hero, someone who goes bad or good, what? There's a lot of ways you could play the character while technically being faithful to canon, I just hope they find a way to capture Emma's intricacies and that Jones doesn't turn her into Lame Pouty Henchwoman In White. Like, wouldn't it suck if she did a great job, but her entire character was "take orders from Sebastian Shaw, get killed in final fight"? But it's not like they would take an A-list X-Man and completely fail at the character, right?

We're boned.

Technically, they didn't screw him harder than a Black and Decker with a Philips head screw until the third movie.
