OMGOMGOMG!
Nov. 11th, 2009 10:01 pmSo, guess who liked my fic!?
fembuck: This may be one of the hottest things I have ever read, ever. In fact the only thing I can think of with a equal level of hottness is your Emma/Rachel story from last week.

Let's celebrate! With Photoshop! Crappy Photoshop! And Leighton Meester (now it's a party)!

Pop quiz, hotshot: Blake Lively is
A. A Confessor
B. A Seeker of Truth
C. A war wizard.
D. Viking.
In other news...
Rachel McAdams cast in Spider-Man 4? Before we go any further (and before you click that link!), take a second to ponder what role she plays? Are they recasting Mary-Jane? Gwen Stacy? Introducing Jill Stacy? Deb Whitman? A young Aunt May?
No, Black Cat. SRSLY. Now, I know she's an actress and she can perform differently then she did in The Time Traveler's Wife... and The Notebook... and The Family Stone... but still, how long would it take you to get from "Rachel McAdams playing a Spider-Man character" to "Black Cat"? She just seems a little too... sweet.
Although now that I think about it, Black Cat is a pretty hard role to cast. It seems easy to just slap in the last Maxim cover girl, but that got us Jessica Alba as Sue Storm and Halle Berry as Original Storm (yes, because when we think quiet dignity and goddess-like regalness, don't we all think of Halle Berry?). So Elisha Cuthbert is out. Hey, as long as you're not being blackmailed by Margaret Cho, pretty much any actress you come up with is going to look good in a catsuit, so why not make it a good one?
Then I thought Megan Fox -- because everyone wants Angelina Jolie for Catwoman, and Black Cat is a younger, trampier version of Catwoman dot dot dot... look, this is just the way my brain works, it's medical. But no, even though the press tourage would be 90% more interesting than listening to Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst harp on how Peter Parker is growing as a character, I guess not.
Maybe Eliza Dushku? Sure, it's type-casting, but sweetie, we all saw Dollhouse, and really, type-casting is not the worst thing that could happen to you.
Then I thought Mila Kunis. Sold (you'll just have to imagine the crappy Photoshop job to give her white hair and a leather catsuit).
You can have that one for free, Raimi. Just let Richard and Kahlan get together. THEY LOVE EACH OTHER SO MUCH BUT THEY CAN'T BE TOGETHER!!! WHY MUST FATE BE SO CRUEL!?
