Status report

Added a character intro that evolved into a minor subplot to Book 1. Instead of a major character showing up about halfway through the book, he now has little vignettes building up to him. Hopefully, it'll be more organic and deliver that Heroes S1 "OMG, Hiro and Peter just met!" feeling instead of that Heroes S2 "Why am I watching Maya and Alejandro?" feeling. And chipped away at Book 2 with what's become one of my favorite scenes, the IHOP Showdown. More on that once I get it done.

Also, SKILLZ. I (apparently) HAS THEM.

Does this make me the Chloe/Davis BNF? I mean, MY PORN FIC MAKES PEOPLE LOCK THEMSELVES IN BATHROOMS. Thank God I’m not the Jason Todd BNF. No offense, Jay-lovers, but 5,343 callers can’t be wrong.

Very well, as BNF of the Chloe/Davis ship, I declare that there shall be only one ship name from now on. I've heard Chlavis, Chloom, Chloomsday... okay, Chloomsday isn't bad, because did you see the trailer for Beast? CHLOOMSDAY IS COMING. SO IS CHLOE. THERE ARE THINGS HAPPENING DOWNSTAIRS AND I DON'T MEAN IN THE BASEMENT.

But as your fandom benevolent dictator, I must insist that we call this ship Chloe/Davis, possibly Davis/Chloe (although Chloe does have seniority, so she should come first, HEY-O). Anyone who feels differently will be dealt with by the Doombots.

Technically it was more of a comfy, well-lit bedroom to get away from the husband and the associated unromantic television choices, but I'll call you anything you want if you can get people to use Chloe/Davis instead of those other horrors. (I don't think you really know you're a BNF until you post from the ICU and people start sending you laptops and lip gloss.)
