For a long time, I've benefited from the ambiguities of language to conceal my gender, partly because it seemed like an interesting way to study gender assumptions, partly because it seemed like a good idea in case I ever had to kill the Witch-king of Angmar, partly because I dislike the idea of being judged on my sex, but mostly because I find it amusing the thought that somewhere, someone has a conspiracy theory on my gender. Like, a wall of statements I've made printed out and pinned to a corkboard. And they'd look at it and go "SERIOUSFICCCCC!" Partly because I don't want to disabuse anyone of the notion that I am, maybe, possibly, Anne Hathaway or Lou Ferrigno or something. IDK, I was told once I write like Lou Ferrigno. I don't even know if it was a compliment.

But now the forbidden fruit must be tasted. So I'd like to state, empirically, unambiguously, and uncategorically that I am a man.

*checks date* Hmmm... funny, that.

Truth? I assumed you were male and didn't know it was supposed to be a mystery.

It was the Buffy/Faith Star Wars AU, wasn't it? No woman would ever combine lesbianism and Star Wars.

Actually I think it was the fact that the overall lesbian obsession seemed free of defensiveness or feminist philosophizing.

See, I figure if anyone's got a corkboard for me, it's probably a map of the internet, and they stick pins in websites I post at like Cryptid sitings.

"Ah-HA! He posted at this webcomic! The visit density in this area is good, chances are he'll be back! Let's hunker down to wait so we can make sure to read every comment he makes and talk with each other about how pissed off he makes us!"

"partly because I dislike the idea of being judged on my sex"

I feel like this is a very feminine idea. I think it's more likely to come from a woman than a man.

Heh, you say that but I know the TRUTH. You're a being created by the hopes and dreams of little children everywhere brought to life by fairy dust and chocolate chip cookies!

And genderless. Hopes and Dreams have no gender.

Well, my hopes and dreams have BOTH, if you catch my meaning.

Who cares what gender a cat is? It's got more important things on it's mind.

I have always believed that you are a very serious cat who is surprisingly good with a keyboard.

This has blown my world.

I'm still operating under the assumption that you are Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt's lovechild, come back from the future to blog about...stuff.

If you only knew how important feedback on Wonder Woman femslash was to my parents getting together. I still remember the story of how they met. Anne Hathaway was dressed as Wonder Woman, Emily Blunt was dressed as Wonder Woman too. There were strange and wondrous circumstances that led to Anne Hathaway going trick-or-treating with her as Wonder Girl. But perhaps I've said too much...

But the question is whether or not you shout that at the top of your lungs while punching someone in the gut!

Wait, I always thought you were a dude. Most femslash writers are male, most comicbook fans are male, so it seemed like easy money. But if you say you're a guy, and the evidence backs it up, but it's April Fools', then that means-
