It's getting a sequel

So, they're making a sequel to Twilight. Not that surprising. They're apparently planning to crank 'em out one a year so they can grab as much money as they can before the target audience hits puberty. What is surprising is that they've retitled the adaptation of the book sequel, New Moon, to The Twilight Saga’s New Moon.
Sigh. Things used to be simple. If you made a sequel to a movie, you gave an entirely new name to it or you put a number at the end or at most there was a colon and something cool like "The Wrath of Khan" or "Die Hard 2: Die Harder." Now look at this gayassery. I suppose now I should be grateful that Quantum of Solace wasn't called Casino Royale 2: Fons Et Origo.
Although, I will admit, at least some of my criticism of Twilight is based in jealousy. Not for the writing, God no, but for the fanbase. I want that. I want people writing fanfics of my work and wearing T-shirts expressing what team they're on and screaming whenever my hero shows up on screen in the big-budget Hollywood blockbuster. Only, you know, better.
So, basically I want to be JK Rowling.

And I agree with
I've always thought if I were to make a book or something-ish, I'd want a smart fanbase. I wouldn't care how large or small the fanbase would be - as long as they're smart, that'd make me one happy person.
