So, while Googling whether She-Ra was really all that gay... and to think, the internet was once meant to coordinate America's nuclear arsenal... I came across this quote:

New York singer and illustrator Stefano Perrone Jr. also saw profound lessons, specifically for gay youths, in She-Ra and her admittedly fabulous transformation sequence. "She-Ra demonstrates the symbolic possibilities of freedom from sexual repression," he says. "The Evil Horde can easily represent society as a whole. It certainly has been my experience that upon embracing my sexuality and 'special destiny' I was endowed with powers of independence, courage, and compassion. I too was transformed into a beacon of truth against an army of darkness!"

He's gay, you say? I never would've suspected!

Your nightmare fuel for the evening: This is what you sound like when you talk about how the X-Men are really metaphors about oppression. "The giant purple robots can easily represent Eurocentric thinking..."
