We have a new GM at work and he sent me home an hour early. I don't think it was a disciplinary thing, just a "oh, we don't have enough business to justify two box people." Of course, by the time I'm walking out the door, there's maybe thirty, forty people in line and they're probably going to reopen that second cash register. So, the moral... don't decide a rush is too small to warrant two cashiers before the rush actually starts.

Then I come home and find that I've got twenty-eight fucking comments on that little crack-fic Steve/Tony fic I did. I'm sorry, it's not even Steve/Tony. It's gen.
