seriousficJust saw a poll on Marvel asking which part of the new Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon geeks potential viewers are most looking forward to. One of the options is "Hello, ladies! Romance?" My conclusions are threefold.
1. Ladies? Marvel is out of touch with part of their fanbase. Daredevil, Johnny Storm, Harry Osborn... J. Jonah Jameson...
2. Romance should have a question mark behind it, as Quesada's idea of romance is Peter getting in, getting off, and getting out. Long-time commitments are for oldies!
3. Really, who watches a half-an-hour children's cartoon show for the romance?

Okay, don't answer that. I am so not comfortable with where that discussion could go.
