A little slice of heaven

I just realized that the Kids' WB is gone. Just, you know, gone. Which is a real fucking shame, but it had an atmosphere that I can only compare to the 1960s Marvel Bullpen. How meta is this: The characters of the various WB shows (who we can assume, by long-standing tradition, are "playing" characters inside the shows that are usually very similar to themselves) interact with each other in bumpers and commercials. Thus, you get Batman interacting with Pokemon.

Man, that was so awesome. I wonder what could've happened to bring Kids' WB, as strong a force for good as any in this world, down.

Cartoon Network pulled the same thing a few years back-all the CN characters apparently lived in the same town. Thus you had the Kids Next Door walking past Professor Utonium to get to the hardware store.

Also, it just changed name to "the CW Kids" a few months back. And y'have to wonder why Turner hasn't decided to do an anime-influenced remake of Captain Planet, what with everyone going green and all.
