Clearly, both Dick and Kory are rather wonderful here, but Gar sure does his best to steal the show. And he's so helpful, offering to come to Dick's rescue like that...
Poor Kory. She's just frustrated enough to cave in, and then has to deal with Dick being a martyr about the whole thing. Nice to see she brought him to his senses. Though the vampirism thing came as a total surprise to me. I kind of liked how it got thrown in there, actually.

On the whole, the story is hot and sweet with some rather creative metaphor mixed in. I like. ♥
