Daredevil: A Joe Carnahan Film
Aug. 15th, 2012 02:05 pmSo Joe Carnahan, the director of The Grey, The A-Team, and Narc, wanted to do a Daredevil film... wait for it... set in the 1970s of Frank Miller's original run, patterned after films like Serpico and The Warriors, possibly with Robert De Niro as the Kingpin. Hey, Hollywood...

Then he put together a proof-of-concept "trailer" for the project.

And another.

And now the rights have reverted back to Marvel/Disney, so, uh... Jesus, it hurts a little bit... I'll stop making fun of how crappy Ultimate Spider-Man is if you make this. I'll even say it's as good as Spectacular Spider-Man. What more can a human being give?
ETA: THE FUCKING TRAILERS MAKE BEN AFFLECK DAREDEVIL, MOTION COMICS, AND NINJA ASSASSIN LOOK GOOD! How does that... HOW?
