Posted an article on Fempop summarizing my thoughts on canon Fem!Watson. It's pretty much what I've said here, but what, it would kill you to Like it on Facebook? I put in a picture of Wishbone dressed as Sherlock Holmes and everything.

Also, five bucks to whoever can come up with how Lucy Liu playing John Watson is unacceptable while Katee Sackhoff playing Starbuck is okay. The five bucks will be in internet dollars. You can spend them on pictures of My Little Pony characters.

That’s what I loved about the Benedict Cumberbatch and Robert Downey Jr. versions: their fidelity to the source material.

Okay, but the Cumberbatch version really doesn't portray Sherlock Holmes properly. Downey's version is much closer. /uber-purist

YEAH THAT'S WHAT I TOOK FROM THIS ARTICLE. I hadn't even HEARD about this new adaptation. It's not like I haven't been on the internet... now I'm concerned.
