The phrase "hilariously awful" springs to mind. It's a show about twins, so naturally every scene is full of mirrors and reflections, which is literally the exact thing that Adaptation used to joke about hack screenwriters. Also, I'm not sure how our lead is meant to be at all sympathetic beyond being played by Buffy, since she's introduced...

A. Refusing to testify, allowing a murderous crime boss to go free.
B. Covering up her sister's death to her friends and loved ones.
C. Pretending to be her sister, even to her husband (note: But it's okay, he's a jerk).
D. Having been responsible for killing a kid in a drunken haze.

So... why are we supposed to root against the assassins after her?

And why does Siohban's plan hinge on assuming Bridget will take her identity? She can't know Bridget that well, they haven't met in six years. Why not just kill Bridget, skip town, and let whoever finds the body makes the natural assumption? If Bridget had gone back and told everyone that Siobhan was dead, the entire evil scheme is foiled. Basically, the villain's plot is based on the heroine being a selfish bitch, but THE ONE THING SHE DIDN'T COUNT ON... was that the heroine was a selfish bitch WITH A GUN!

I wonder if once the destined for cancellation decision was made to extend an 80 minute b movie plot into an open ended television show anyone with sense involved just gave up on coherence.

If I wanted to make a vehicle for SMG, about the last thing would be "The Patty Duke Show, but with guns."
