Gossip Girl

At first I didn't like the VOs, but now I think it puts the show over the top into trashily awesomeness... or awesomely trashy. It just adds to that whole atmosphere of "OMG you h0r!" that is fun to have on as background noise. I still think the whole attempted rape in the first episode was too dark and too much of a turn-off (especially since we're apparently meant to go through the next few episodes going "Oh, Chuck, you cad!" in a sorta Draco Malfoy way), but I guess that's the price I pay for imagining that Veronica Mars grew up to run a successful celebrity gossip site.
