That would be a great way to bring in the Shi'ar and the Brood... maybe a crashed alien starship is causing mutations and Mr. Sinister wants to get his hands on it? And it's crashed near Genosha?
They could even go in the Ultimate direction and have Mojo on Genosha running mutant fight clubs. Although I think both Rictor/Shatterstar and Charles/Erik in the same movie would leave it too gay to function, resulting in everyone suddenly wearing tight leather pants. Wait...
