Sam Raimi, creator of Xena, Spartacus, and Legend of the Seeker, is adapting a femslashy anime for Starz.



I know everyone's been in mourning since LotS ended, but this has the potential to be even gayer. Imagine if Cara and Kahlan were hitgirls partnered together who had never met Richard. Then imagine that show on the network that broadcast multiple episodes of Lucy Lawless having sex with Jaime Murray (I think other things happened too, maybe). Raimi turned the Sword of Truth novels from libertarian bondage fantasies to the epic love affair of Kahlan and Cara. Imagine what he will do with canon that is already fifty percent femslash!

Start fan-casting! thrace_, Raimi still has Zoe Bell's phone number. fembuck, Tabrett Bethell is probably getting bored of doing nothing but looking amazing. ivanolix, Katrina Law is not that busy. And Ali Larter needs to do something between Resident Evil movies...

I AM EXCITE! Everything about this show from the premise, to the network, to the producing team of Raimi and Tapert is extremely happy-making!

Tabrett Bethell is probably getting bored of doing nothing but looking amazing.

Of course, now Tab isn't cast in this I'm gonna throw a bitch fit. The world (and by the world, I might mean my loins) have been denied the presence of Queen Tabrett for too long! She totes needs to be on my screen again bringing the fierce, the gay, the breathtaking beauty and the killination. Because, dammit if TV won't let Tab holster agiels anymore, by god she better be allowed to start holstering guns!

Seriously though, I will probably legit cry if she isn't cast in this.

yesssssss! I've known this was in the works for a while! Have you seen the anime? It's a bit slow to start, and very japanese, but it's also quite a lot of fun. Like that one time Kirika killed a guy with his own glasses. Or that time she killed a guy withe the axle from a toy truck.

And yeah, by the end of the series they are totally gay for each other, it is amazing. Ha, maybe he'll do all of BeeTrain's "girls with guns" trilogy. All of that was pretty gay.
