Space Princess Barda

So a contributor sent me a link to an upcoming action figure DC is releasing, an anime version of Big Barda (I have contributors now, deal with it). And, ummm... I have no idea what to say to this, so let's pretend it never happened.
But the description! "Arghh, matey! Not content to be the lead drill sergeant on her home planet of Apokolips, Big Barda and her female furies have escaped for a life of adventure as an interstellar pirate gang aboard their cruiser the Scott Free. Wanted in virtually every solar system, Barda’s gang shows no mercy to anyone who has the misfortune to come across them, as is befitting of their brutal upbringing."
She named the boat after her chick. That's adorable. Now I'm imagining Scott as an uke cabin boy.

Oh, look, it's that one anime hero who's angsty and unsure if he can live up to his responsibilities.
And since all anime is the same, a conclusion I've reached due to my incredible racism (although I'm nowhere near as racist as those damn dirty Polacks), the Female Furies would be like the heroines of a magical girl series (Sailor Barda. UNTHINK IT. TRY.), the hunt for the Anti-Life Equation would involve scores of cute critters with magical powers, and everyone would be heavily invested in a children's card game.

"DARKSEID IS... playing Dark Magician Girl."
