In September 2003, during a panel session at the Maniafest convention, Sean S. Cunningham spoke about the possibility of bringing Friday the 13th to television, with the series focusing on a group of teenagers living in the Crystal Lake area.[78] On October 22, 2005, Cunningham discussed the potential series further. He explained that the idea was to call the series Crystal Lake Chronicles, and "set [it] in a town with all this Jason history". The series would focus more on "coming-of-age issues", in a similar style to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dawson's Creek, and Smallville, with Jason as more of a recurring "background" character.[79]



This is the greatest idea of all time. Name one teen drama that couldn't be improved by Jason Voorhees committing the occasional graphic and exotic murder of a cast member. JUST ONE!

I been lurking your journal since forever, and I never left comments because I'm very self conscious about my english, and your post deserve a proper response,but this is too much.
I think I loled way too much at this, I feel seriously evil.
And of course in that final scene are Brittany and Santana having confort sex, or probably not because that would mean that Jason is going to kill them.
Anyways, that would be a great show o_o

I can see a new kind of Script Doctor emerging.

The Script Slasher.

After regular writers wrote about 4 or 5 episodes, they bring in the Script Slasher.

A character made a racist or sexist remark? He gets Jasoned (it's now a verb).

A character was a whinny little bitch? Jasoned!

OOC? JASONED!!!

Now the regular writers come up with 4 or 5 more episodes with the remaining characters and then we bring the Script Slasher again.

Rinse and repeat! :)
