So it kinda reminded me of Dollhouse, if the hero were Alpha (and he was an Asian woman with raised-by-wolves-social-skills instead of an Eliza Dushku stan) and it focused on bringing the Dollhouse down instead of all the horrible sexy things they were doing. So at least they've come up with a better focus than the client-of-the-week shit, even if they can't match Whedon's level of talent (not to disparage the acting powerhouse that is Shane West or anything).

And I know, I know, Eliza Dushku is really only great at playing Faith, but I don't know if Maggie Q is any better. I've only seen her in Mission: Impossible 3, where her only jobs were to look stunning and not be Tom Cruise.

I do hope TPTB came up with a "twelve ways my show will be different than Alias" list before they started filming, though. Also, am a little amused by Nikita's goal. "I'm going to free the slaves who are forced to work for Division! By shooting them a bunch!"

But she wants to save Alex from herself and do for Alex what she whishes someone had done for her and stuff and it's gay and awesome. That's in the 2nd episode though.
