$Mft

So apparently the problem with my E: drive is something to do with the $Mft file, so that'll be fun to sort out. If anyone has any tips, I'm listening. Let's not pretend no one here is that big a nerd. Now, can anyone name an alien from The Last Starfighter?

Oh, and I finally finished this LotS story about... uh... well, the working title is "AGIEL GOES WHERE?" It's about 11K (because with smut, you really have to delve into the backstory, like how Kahlan's dead mom would feel about her daughter having kinky sex with a Mord'Sith. That's what the readership demands!). So, betas?

*snorfles* Wow, you weren't kidding about it getting really serious. I do know the feeling.

Sadly, though, I am far too busy this week(end) to beta. :-( I look forward to its eventual publication, though.

I don't know, it's weird. Sometimes when I boot up it doesn't show the drive at all, sometimes it shows it but when I try to get inside it only shows me the files without letting me click on them at all. I've tried Disk Defragmenter, but it doesn't seem to be able to interact with the E: drive either.

Oh, and Windows XP.

I just wish I knew how to get the files off the drive.
