seriousficSo M. Night Shyamalan wants to make a sequel to The Last Airbender (as does his wallet, I'm guessing), focusing on Azula, who he calls the only true villain of the series. Because I guess Ozai, Sozin, and Zhao were all just misunderstood.
Is it too much to ask for that someone realizes that while audiences want to see an Avatar movie, they'd rather see a good Avatar movie? Wait a few years, hire a new director, recast some parts, do a soft reboot. Especially since the next two seasons lend themselves much easier to movies. Book 2 could climax with the Day of Black Sun, while Book 3 could spend more time on Zuko and Suki in the group. Done right, you could even improve on the show (Ember Island Players. Vin Diesel cameos as Toph. The world would explode in a shockwave of awesome).
