I'm so sad for Cara but this was a very realistic situation. As much as I love the subtext the show really pointed to Cara being in love with Kahlan but Kahlan not being in love with Cara and loving her in a platonic way. So while the story was hard to bare it was really well written and in character. Now what I would love to happen is for you to continue the story and have Cara experience what she said to Nan. i.e. that SHE will find someone who feels about her the way she feels about Kahlan and feel for that woman what she feels for Kahlan. It would be very fitting for her advice to Nan to ultimately help Cara herself. So please don't end this here. Cara deserves to find love.
