Yeah, it's funny, because I intended this to just be a transition piece to take Cara from the place she was at the end of Home to... well, where she's going to be here... so the Most Epic Quest Fic Ever could go down, but then after I wrote it, it was longer than Home. I blame myself for including sex scenes. Cara love ladies long time.
And hey, Cara is awesome because she mixes noble, chivalrous decisions with dark, dangerous emotional spaces. She's not a saint, which makes it totally heartbreaking cool when she has to act like one.
