I honestly don't understand why they went the path they went with the last two episodes and not something more like your awesome ending.
Do you think it is "honest" bad writing? or is it because they're owned by Disney and they got an order from above to quickly "fix" Cara before they can the show?
i.e. in one episode - not just kill her lover - but erase her all-together from history and existence, and instead add Zed's baffling exposition about Leo being her twu wuv.
also, LOL "Seekerettes". dude, that should be the name of the show since the girls do most of the work even in cannon :D
