Man, there is something dang weird about seeing fourteen-year-olds gleefully gibbing sentient beings, even if they are monsters and it is in self-defense. Of course, I suppose you could say the same of BtVS (high schoolers slaying monsters, right there in the title!).

And there's always the weird values dissonance where it's okay to kill demons/robots/aliens/gorgons (in Wonder Woman)/whatev because they look freaky, but when it comes to humans, they can burn your mother, rape your sister, kill your dog, and trash your RV... but if you get kill them, you're no better than they are. But that's a whole nutta rant.
