Does an AU in which Clark is raised by the Luthors and Davis Bloom is raised by the Kents, so he and Chloe are together during season one--does that count as a high school AU?

Yeah, what I'm going with is that the phrase "highschool AU" only applies to a fic that puts non-highschool characters into a highschool setting. I guess you could call what you described a "highschool AU", but it would be meaningless compared to the typical usage of the term.
