I think it is! Two weeks until I have canon to base prison-sex fics on. Because evil anti-mutant governments don't segregate prison showers.

You know, I'm guessing X-Men: First Class is going to follow up on this (with Young!Jean and Young!Beast, possibly Young!Ororo joining Young!Scott) and I kinda hope Emma is one of the teachers alongside Xavier (and possibly Magneto). Because I know any movieverse canon will be tainted by X3, like yeah, I should really care about these characters when I know they're going to die pointless stupid deaths or grow up to be Halle Berry, but if there's wrongsauce subtext between Scott and Ms. Frost, I'll be there. That's something the Justice League movie never understood.

George Miller: So Christian Bale won't be Batman and Brandon Routh won't be Superman. In fact, everyone is fresh out of college.

Me: WHY ARE YOU STILL TALKING?

George Miller: Did I mention Barda and Scott are on the team?

Me: Do you need a kidney to make this film happen? I can get you a kidney!

Dear lord! That Emma is extremely unpretty. For a character who's bombshell appearance is really one of the core aspects of her personality, you'd think they'd find someone a little more attractive.

I guess they're making up for turning short, ugly Wolverine into six-foot-sexy Hugh Jackman. :(

Perhaps movie!Emma forces everyone to perceive her as a bombshell through the sheer force of her, er, psychic power? ... No? It's probably just bad makeup. Jailbait!Scott is dweeby. And whoa, what is this college-kid JLA movie about? Thank fuck for no Bale or Routh, at any rate.

Maybe it's Emma before her plastic surgery.

And whoa, what is this college-kid JLA movie about? Thank fuck for no Bale or Routh, at any rate.

Someone had the bright idea of doing a JLA movie and then spinning off all the characters from that, in addition to not having the Superman and Batman that fans like. And they got the director of Happy Feet to do it. Fortunately, it seems to have fallen through, because if that got made and both Joss Whedon's Wonder Woman and David Goyer's Flash were left on the cutting room floor, I would have to go Con Dar on the WB.

Ah, right, fans like Bale and Routh. Although for maximum sale-ability they should cast Tom Welling.

David Goyer's Flash? :runs to Google:

>Maybe it's Emma before her plastic surgery.

Considering her lack of significant boobs, that would actually make sense.

I've got a friend who insists that Emma's really about 15 pounds heavier than she's drawn and never wears anything but baggy sweats, top and bottom... it's just that she psychically projects the hourglass figure and the "must be glued on or sprayed on" costume to everyone in the world...

I've got to do a story about a dumpy psychic who has everyone convince she goes into battle in French lingerie while being a foot shorter and wearing Bomb Squad armor.

Emma: Whoopsie-daisy! I seem to have dropped the soap.

Scott: There you are, miss.

Emma: Thank you. Oops! I dropped it again. I'm just so wet and slippery today...

Scott: No problem, ma'am! Until the government sorts out this mess, we'll just have to make the best of things.

Emma: Yes. We should make the best of things, shouldn't we?

Scott: Ms. Frost! The shower isn't for that kind of thing!

unpretty? I guess it's a matter of opinion, but I find her rather attractive, out of the norm. With a lot of the typical blond actresses, I can barely keep them apart, even on covershots. But this woman's gorgeous, without a typical cookiecutter face.

Damn, Emma looked much better on those movie posters. Photoshop to the rescue!
