I don't just write Myka/HG

So here's the thing. I'm writing a post-apocalyptic work where the survivor of a Scavenger World stumbles into a Cozy Catastrophe (how did I talk before TV Tropes?). To ingratiate himself to the group, he starts fixing up the museum house (basically, a really old manor) they've taken shelter in. You know, leaks in the roof, shorts in the electrical system--basically, I'm looking for clever jury-rigs someone could do to fix up a house, given a reasonable amount of skill and foraged equipment--you know, handyman shit. Usually, I would just browse TV Tropes to get ideas from that, but apparently they don't need an entry for "Man Builds Stuff and Gets Lots of Pussy."

Not that I'm writing that. It's more "Man Builds Stuff and Gets A Moderate Amount of Pussy."
