They'd talked and laughed together, and then they were finally alone backstage, all the other dancers doing a big number, the music echoing back to them through heavy curtains and long corridors. Rocket was showing Babydoll how to do her make-up, just admiring the job she'd done on her lip gloss when Babydoll kissed her. She made a little sigh and her hands set down the brush she was holding. )
