Title: An Uncomplicated Night
Fandom: Nikita
Rating: R
Word Count: 1,368
Characters/Pairings: Alex/Nikita
Summary: Alex becoming an agent means she has greater access, means Nikita's infiltration of Division can go deeper. It also means they can see each other whenever they like.

The last time they'd made love was before Division, the night before the robbery. Alex had thrown a towel over those stupid masks because it'd felt like they'd been watching her all day and stripped down to her bra and panties; the closest she could come to lingerie. Nikita had understood. )

I don't want to watch the game, I just want to see the Captain America trailer.

So, in case you missed it, this happened: A news item came out that the WB was choosing among three blonde, European actresses for a non-Lois Lane female lead in the next Superman movie.

EXPECTATION: OH MY GOD, THEY'RE GETTING RID OF LOIS LANE, HOW DARE THEY, LOIS LANE IS ICONIC, THOSE BITCHES!!!

REALITY: There's going to be more than one female character in the Superman movie.

And apparently Olivia Wilde and Rachel McAdams are both being considered for the part of Lois. You'll forgive me if I think either would be a great choice, so the part should go to whoever wins a wrestling match involving some flavor of Jell-O.

And Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in talks to join The Dark Knight Rises. I tell you, anything other than Nightwing (which will never happen) would be a waste.

And Cobie Smulders got cast to play Maria Hill (described as "Nick Fury's sidekick") in the Avengers. I don't think it's so much them wanting to do Civil War -- although that is a possibility down the line, as CW is one of those storylines that sounds good in theory, but was a clusterfuck on page, so it'd be easy to improve upon (I think one of the videogames already adapted it, but added in a plot about a villain taking advantage of the Civil War and the heroes having to resolve their differences to stop him?). Where was I? Anyway, I don't think it's so much Civil War as Whedon wanting to 1. Have some female characters for diversity's sake and 2. Have a bitchy-but-awesome character in there (see Lilah Morgan, Adelle DeWitt).
