I know it's fan-wanky of me, but the urge to write a fic where the X-Men are real and watch the movies "based" on them is growing overwhelming. Because Kitty would love this almost as much as the Extended Editions of LOTR ("What has two thumbs and knows how to speak Elven? This chick!").
