Read thread pages one and two.

You know, those Marvel Vs. DC videos on Youtube bring up a good point about heroes you aspire to be (like, ostensibly, DC's) and heroes you can relate to (ditto Marvel). Now Quesada has come up with an entirely new innovation: Heroes as cautionary tales.

Young spider-fans, work hard and be good or you might end up like Spider-Man: Unemployed, single, and mooching off your elderly aunt when you're in your thirties (or at least well into your twenties).

Note to the world in general: There are behaviors that, while endearing and even cute at certain ages, become repulsive as a person ages and is expected to be mature. If a temper tantrum is unattractive in a two-year-old, imagine how it looks when coming from one of the spoiled brats on My Super Sweet Sixteen. Same thing here. In your teens or early twenties, I think must of us would emphasize with having to go out and get a job, move out of the old homestead, find a cuddle-buddy, and so on. When you're a grown-ass man, though, it just makes you look like a loser. And not a lovable loser, either. The pathetic kind.
