thelastgoodname is following Change My World. Look! Okay, you probably don't know who she is, but she's kinda a BNF in The Devil Wears Prada fandom (of course, TDWP fandom is so small that anyone can be a BNF. Write "Miranda kissed Andy" in the comment section and BOOM!, you're a BNF) and pretty well-known for her mad reccing skillz. And she digs me. She's not even in Batfandom, but my fic is so good that it transcends fandom.
Which is kinda to account my decision to make longfic updates biweekly (heh heh, "bi") instead of weekly. I think waiting a week between serials is just too long to keep people hanging when it comes to fic. I mean, you do all have lives, right? Right? Now if only I could find the right time to post all these one-shots I have lying around... they're mostly obscure pairings, so I kinda want for people to come for the Dick/Babs (or, more realistically, Clark/Bruce) and stay for the writing, but I also don't want to wait two years' time, discover an old Jean/Emma fic on my hard drive, then debate with myself whether to try to make readable something that's badly written to me then as my fics two years ago were (and yet more out of sync with canon, as Jean will have probably come back again by then) and risk, as Aldous Huxley did when he considered rewriting Brave New World, destroying the inherent appeal of the work through unnecessary editing (see Lucas, George).
Latent fic idea: Sometime near the end of She-Hulk Vol. The First One Dan Slott did, Mary-Jane discovers what happened in OMD and sues Peter for alimony (after all, that cheat tried to make her forget they were married/divored). She-Hulk represents Peter in court. Black Cat is called to the stand. Things are resolved with a statistically improbable amount of sex.
