If you're going to rip yourself off, why rip off pre-emo emo poetry? Rip yourself off from back when you were good. Like... "Making a deal with Mephisto was Peter's last, best hope for peace."

Ooh, or Mephisto could offer Mary-Jane anything she wanted and she could say "I'd like to live just long enough to be there when they cut off your head and stick it on a pike as a warning to the next ten generations that some favors come with too high a price. I want to look up into your lifeless eyes and wave like this."

Actually, the Teen Titans one comes off to me as vaguely "Twilight Zone". The first one, however, is just plain emo.
